At our heart, Lee & Maria’s is a family farm that started over 40 years ago by our namesakes Lee & Maria. We proudly continue that farming tradition by selling produce grown on our farm, and by our neighbours, in the region’s premiere on-farm market. Along with top quality produce, you’ll find local groceries, frozen meals, fresh farm eggs, Ontario cheeses, baked goods, and kombucha on-tap. We are a family owned and operated fruit and vegetable farm on 65 acres of land. We have been at this location since 1951. Our main crops are apples, peaches and strawberries followed by potatoes, cherries, plums, raspberries, sweet corn, beans, tomatoes, peppers, pickles, seedless watermelons, honeydews and apricots.  We offer both, pick your own and ready picked fruits. We also make our own sweet apple cider, cider vinegar as well as hot and sweet paprika spice and jams. In July, we recommend to lose yourself in our expanded corn maze. We look forward to another great year and to meet new and old customers.

We are an urban vertical farm store that is truly local, sustainable, and diverse. Get super fresh microgreens delivered to your door every week. Deliveries are available for the entire Windsor-Essex region. Microgreens are young and tender vegetables, harvested a few days or weeks after germination when the cotyledons (embryonic leaf) are fully developed and the first true leaves may be emerging. Be prepared to be surprised with these tiny, beautiful edible greens, that are full of flavor and nutritional value.

We are a fourth generation family farm dating back to 1897.  Our main focus on the farm is growing quality strawberries and raspberries.  Over the years we have moved towards raised plastic beds, high tunnels and drip irrigation to improve the quality, taste and length of our season while minimizing the impact on the enviroment.  Our strawberries are available from mid May through September and the raspberries mid June through September.  Our strawberries, raspberries and other locally grown fruits and vegetables are available daily on our farm market.

Sun Parlor Honey is a family owned and operated business located in the Cottam-area. Sun Parlor Honey is among the largest honey producers in the province. This year their 1,700 hives and 85 million bees will produce more than 80 tonnes of award winning Ontario honey. If you live in Southern Ontario’s Essex County and enjoy produce, chances are it is one of Congdon’s 85 million bees that have pollinated it! In the spring, many of the Congdon’s hives are leased to local farmers who need the bees to pollinate their apple, plum, pear and cherry crops. Essex County cucumbers, melons and strawberries also rely on Congdon’s bees for a bountiful harvest. No wonder bees are such an important part of the regional economy. Sunrise Farms has been in business for 3 generations.  We strive to provide fresh produce in a family-friendly environment.  My grandparents started this business with hard work and a dream and my parents brought it to where it is today with that same focus.  My brother and I hope to carry on in their footsteps to provide our community with quality, home grown produce at a fair price.  We grow as much of our own produce as possible and source the rest from local farms.  We offer locally made products such as honey, eggs, maple syrup, hamburgers and sausages, and more.  We invite you to stop by and say hello.  We hope that you will feel the love from the moment you arrive.  You can also find us on Facebook and Instagram.
